At Beach & Wood we go above and beyond to ensure you pay as low as possible on delivery charges because we understand that it can be a big expense. The cost of delivery is calculated based on weight, cubic centimetres and location, however we heavily subsidize our delivery fee to bring more value to your doorstep. 

Within Australia:

We make use of Australia Post, DHL, Allied Express, Direct Freight, Toll, TNT and Aramex (Known as Fastway). ‘Special Freight Consideration’ means that the item is heavy and/or fragile and needs a furniture removalist to deliver the item. 

For certain smaller items we have already included delivery into the price. The cost of shipping will show in the cart, if no shipping shows and only ‘flat rate’ this might also reference to free shipping. 

Any other deliveries within Australia are calculated based on weight and location. It is rare that we will charge you full price of the delivery! We want you to enjoy your products and shop knowing you are getting value for money.  Enter your delivery post code at the check-out to determine what you will be charged. 

Delivery of items is subject to availability and we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any item unexpectedly out of stock. We regularly update our website to ensure this does not happen, however, in the rare occasion that a paid item is out of stock we will offer you a store credit or full refund. 

Deliveries will be on weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm only. No deliveries on weekends or public holidays. Generally items are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours after payment is received. Time frames for delivery varies and can be anything from a couple of days to 4 weeks depending on location. 

It is important that you supply us with contact details and special instructions to be passed on to the delivering company, especially when you live in a high rise building, apartment block or where there might be restricted access.

It might be of benefit to consider giving authority to deliverers to leave small items in a ‘safe spot’ in the rare occasion that you’re not at home at the time of delivery. 

Please check your item upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours should the item be damaged or faulty. Where possible, keep the original packaging. Please contact us via the contact page for all returns.

International Shipping

We also offer international shipping on smaller homewares. Unfortunately, due to the high cost, we cannot offer International Shipping on bigger furniture items. All International deliveries is with DHL. If you are located outside of Australia please contact us to get a tailored quote.

Returns

We have a 30 day return policy. This gives you peace of mind to return your item, however, the item needs to be in it’s original packaging, undamaged, unstained and unused

If you do not have the original packaging then we would have to evaluate the items once in the warehouse and determine if the product is resell-able.  

Shipping is a third-party service and we will supply you with the best shipping quote to return the product to our warehouse. The shipping costs will be your responsibility.

Once we receive the item in resell-able condition, we will refund your money, less the initial shipping cost and any other costs we are entitled to according to our policy. Please contact us if you have a return request.   

Cancellations

To cancel an order you need to contact us within 12 hours. After this, we would have already booked a courier to collect your item. Cancelling within 12 hours will ensure that no shipping is charged, however any cancellations after this period could incur a shipping charge fee charged by the couriers. We cannot be held responsible for this charge unfortunately, as this is a third party fee.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please check your item upon delivery and contact us within 24 hours should the item be damaged or faulty. Please keep the original packaging. Contact us here.

Should the item be damaged upon arrival, we won’t charge you any return charges. We will access the best possible course of action, which could include any of the following:

  1. Replacement of the product, depending on stock availability OR
  2. Full refund 

on the condition that the goods are returned within 14 business days from the date the goods were dispatched to you and the items are in their original condition as purchased, with all labels/tickets/packaging attached.

We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if the item does not comply to our returns policy. Refused items will be posted back to you and additional postage will be charged. We accept no responsibility for returns that are sent by non-traceable postage methods and are not received. Unfortunately without the items we cannot issue an exchange or refund. We strongly suggest you send your returns using a traceable method.
